Elysia Rotaru

Elysia Rotaru is a Romanian-Canadian multi-talented artist, originally from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and now based in California, USA.  She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance, grounding her creative work in a deep understanding of storytelling, performance, and collaboration. She has seamlessly transcended borders and has built a vibrant career spanning over two decades as an actor, voice artist and now producer.

In 2022, she founded Little Psycho Productions, bringing her performer’s insight into the world of producing. Drawing from her extensive experience as an actor, she approaches producing with a nuanced understanding of character development, narrative structure, and the collaborative energy required to foster a strong, supportive ensemble on and off set. 

Elysia has co-produced award-winning short films and continues to expand her producing slate with bold, story-driven projects. While she has explored producing a podcast and music, her primary focus remains film—developing and championing character-driven narratives that resonate emotionally and commercially. As a producer, she is committed to fostering meaningful collaborations, elevating distinctive voices, and bringing compelling cinematic stories to life from development through delivery.
